EASY BREAD WITH KATIE
Here’s a Katie’s quick and easy way to bake your bread. You will definitely like this recipe, must try!
INGREDIENTS
7 dl/ 3 cups flours,
3.5 dl/ 1.5 cups water,
1.5 tsp salt (or to taste),
0.5 tsp instant yeast,
Cooking oil.
You need: a mixing bowl, ovenproof pot with a lid and a towel.
- Combine flours, salt and yeast. Add warm (+42/ 108 degrees F) water and mix gently. We mean gently! Cover and let it rise at least for 12 hours.
- Pour the dough to surface sprinkled with flour and form a ball. Again, gently. Cover and let it rise for further 30 minutes.
- Put ovenproof pot to cold oven and heat to 225°C (425 degrees F). Swipe preheated dish with oil, add the dough ball. Cover with lid and bake for 30 minutes, remove the lid and bake for another 15 minutes.
- Enjoy!
Let rise for 12-24 hours, bake 45 minutes in 225°C,TIP! You can use different kinds of flours or add oatmeal or seeds.
