CARROT CAKE WITH KATIE

No better start to the weekend than baking a delicious carrot cake that makes sure your weekend is sweeter than anybody else. Here’s Katie’s famous recipe and a few fun tips to make it look as great as it tastes!
For this recipe, you will need:
10 oz (3dl) Brown sugar
3 eggs
10 oz (3dl) Sunflower oil
0,25 tsp Vanilla extract
15 oz (4,5dl) All-purpose flour
1 tsp Baking powder
1 tsp Baking soda
1 tsp ground cinnamon
0,5 Ground ginger
0,5 Salt
10 oz (300g) grated carrots
3,5 oz (100g) Chopped pecans
Cream cheese frosting
9 oz (250g) cream cheese
3,5 oz (100g) butter
20 oz (6 dl) icing sugar
Bake 170 Celsius / 338 °F for 25 minutes.
